Registration on day of departure will be in the Premier Business Lounge at Durban Railway Station. The Premier Business Lounge can be accessed up the ramp from Jeff Taylor Crescent, which is between Umgeni Road and Masabalala Yengwa Avenue (previously NMR Avenue), just to the north of Durban’s central business district, and not far from the intersection with Somtseu Road.  Secure, boom-protected parking is available to Holiday Express clients, up the ramp on the second floor just outside the entrance to the Lounge.

PRASA levy a flat parking rate of R10.00 per vehicle for the day.

The route up the coast passes through extensive sugar cane fields which this part of KZN is so well known for. For those travelling on the 8th and 9th you will have the opportunity to catch the finals of the Ballito Pro, while others can spend a relaxing day at Willards Beach, take a leisurely stroll along the attractive promenade and treat themselves to a special holiday lunch at one of the many fine restaurants and hotels within comfortable walking distance.

A range of refreshments, including wine, beer, soft drinks, biltong, peanuts and chips etc. will be available on the train. Remember to purchase your cash vouchers at registration.  You are also welcome to bring your own refreshments with you.

For the comfort of all passengers no smoking is allowed on the trains.
